The progress of the armaments industry in Australia impressed Mr. P. J. de .Havilland, of the de Havilland Aircraft Company, who has returned from a business visit to the Commonwealth. Mr. de Havilland remarked on tlie wide range of articles being manufactured. New factories were being built, and workmen were operating at maximum canacltv.
