Fresh Winds And Unsettled Outlook Following is the weather report and forecast for the 24 hours ending at 3 p.m. today:— Winds: North-easterly predominating over the North Island and south-easterly over the South Island. ' Force strong in the Auckland Peninsula, elsewhere moderate but freshening. >’ Seas (New Zealand waters) : Rough north of Tauranga, otherwise slight fo moderate but rising gradually on the east coast. Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate to strong north-easterly winds in the northern portion and south-easterlies in the southern. Weather: Fair at first generally. Drizzle or rain developing, however, on the west coast of the South Island and becoming more general during the next day or two. Temperatures mild in the north, cool in the south. Wellington' district forecast up to e p.m. today.— winds tending north-easterly and becoming fresh in force. Weather fair to cloudy. Moderate temperatures. Seas moderate. FURTHER OUTLOOK. — Becoming unsettled.
