THE GREAT LEVANTE

Tonight at the Opera House, Wellington, J. C. Williamson Theatres, Ltd., will present the amazingly, elever magician, Levante, for the final occasion, -in his mystical and entertaining revue, "How’s Trickg,” in which he is supported by a company of over 30 artists. Wellington has been visited by several world-famous magicians, and none of them has attracted larger audiences over such a long period as that allocated to Levante’s season.

In addition to being probably the cleverest magician witnessed in this city, Levante is the-possessor o£ a delightful personality which never fails to capture his audiences. For this final performance Levante will perform the most daring of nil his achievements, that of firing from a silver cannoli a human projectile in the person of Miss Nellie Austin, who.has volunteered her services for this amazing feat. Quite an amount of interest has been aroused by Levante’s greatest act and for her bravery Miss Austin is likely to be welcomed by a large audience when she appears this evening. The popularity of Levante in London and New York was greatly enhanced by bis cannon-firing performance, which thrilled and astounded playgoers in those cities. The famous magician is surrounded by an excellent company of revue and vaudeville artists, and altogether Levante’s show is one of the best of its kind yet presented to playgoers of this city.
