The friends of Miss Cynthia Wilson, Bulls, will be pleased to learn of her safe arrival in England. She left for England, via America, in February of this year.

Mrs. F. W. Hoddinott and Miss G. Hoddiimtt, Dunedin, who have been visiting Wellington, are now in Christchurch.

Mrs. G. E. Whelch, Akaroa, has been the guest of her daughter, Mrs. R. Newlands, ’Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. R. Thomas were recent Nelson visitors to Waverley for the Sheppard-Thomas wedding. Mrs. W. Ross, who, with her family, will leave Wanganui shortly for Te Puke, was the guest of honour at an afternoon given by the Westmere branch of the Presbyterian Women’s .Mission Union, of which she has been a member for many years.
