S. Thompson. The telegram read: “The Otago executive of the Farmers’ Union strongly protests against the sweeping; nature of the restrictions on the kill ings of ewes and wethers for export When the Governmenl asked for increased . production. the Otago farm ers did their utmost without counting cost.
