Olivier And Vivien Leigh Go Back To England
J AURENOE OLIVIER and Vivien Leigh have gone back to England with very few of the dollars they made in the U.S.A, an overseas writer states. Olivier was paid £17,000 for ‘‘Lady Hamilton,” but he paid to his ex-wife and their child the amount left after paying Federal and State taxes. Vivien Leigh, probably the lowestpaid star in Hollywood—she receives only £250 a week—also has given her savings for the support of her daughter In Canada. Her ex-husband is in EngLind and unable to export money. Olivier lost £16,000 of his own moneyin the non-successful “Romeo and Juliet” American season.
