NAVAL ENTERPRISE
“War With the Sea Wolves,” by Harold Wheeler (London: Nelson). Mr. Wheeler, author of a number of books on the sea and ships, returns to a well-worn topic—the work of the Royal Navy. Yet it is a tale that cannot be told too often, and it remains as < stirring and thrilling as ever. Mr. Wheeler covers a wide field. Besides dealing with general subjects, he narrates many notable incidents of the war. He tells of the sinking.of the Athenia, the Rawalpindi saga, the Battle of the Plate, the Altmark episode, and the epic destroyer actions at Narvik. It is a vivid account which does full justice to British naval enterprise in all craft from battleships to mine-sweepers.
