C.2, and Wellington East, C. 3, one half hour prior to the closing of mails at. tile chief post office, between the hours of 0.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. (Mails for Auckland, by “Limited’’ express, close at these offices at 4.30 p.m.). OVERSEAS MAD/S (OUTWARD). Overseas mails will be dispatched as opportunity offers. TRANSTASMAN AIR SERVICE. ■ Mails close at Wellington three times each fortnight. Australia (including air services In Australia), Egypt, Africa and intermediate Empire countries, foreign countries, intermediate between Australia and Egypt. TRANSPACIFIC AIRMAIL. The closing time for mails from Wellington will be at 4 p.m.. Friday. March 21. AIRMAIL SERVICES TO GREAT BRITAIN. Air New Zealand, Australia, Cape Town only (by transtasman airmail or Australian'dispatches) : Normal transit times, on the average 45 days: postal rate 1/6 each half ounce. Air New Zealand. New I’ork only (by transpacific airmail): Normal transit time, approximately two weeks’ postage rate. 4/- each li.nlf ounce. Air New Zealand.
