(Received March LI, 10 pan.) LONDON, March 11

Malta was raided five times yesterday, making 11 raids in two days and over 400 in nine months. Several Messerschmitts yesterday machine-gunned the seaplane base. One Junkers 88, which attempted to reconnoitre over Malta, was engaged by fighters and driven off. Another of the same type crashed at Gozo and was burnt out, all of the crew being killed.
