British Restrictions Lifted

(British O ffi ci al W i relc&s,)

(Received March 9, 7.5 p.ni.f l RUGBY, March 8.

The Minister of Home Security, Mr. Morrison, has made an order exempting women who lost British nationality by marriage to aliens from most wartime restrictions to which they are subjected—restrictions imposed by various orders made in 1040 and 1941. They are also relieved of the obligation to obtain a permit from the Ministry of Labour before taking employment. On the other hand, such of these women as are not at present registered with the police are required by order to do so.
