Takapuuas of the Eyans Bay Yacht and Motor Boat Club raced on Saturday for the Royal St. Kilda Yacht Club Trophy. The race was re-sailed from February 15, when it was abandoned because of a capsize in Kio Bay. The scratch boat, Manahau, was the winner.
