The Minister of Labour has made an order for the purpose of preventing ■loss of production in factories engaged on essential war work by unnecessary labour turnover or absentees. It provides lhat in the case of employers classed as doing "essential work” the right of the management to discharge workers or of workers to leave will be strictly controlled.
