Fair To Fine With Moderate Temperatures Following is the weather report and forecast issued by the Meteorological Office. Wellington, for the 24 hours ending at 3 p.m. today General situation: A slight disturbance is located north of Auckland Peninsula, while an anticyclone extends from the Tasman Sea on to New Zealand. Forecast.—Winds: Moderate south-westerlies to westerlies predominating. Seas (New Zealand waters) : Slight or moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate south-westerly winds and moderate sea. Weather: A few showers at first in the Gisborne-East Cape area; otherwise fair to fine with rising temperatures. WELLINGTON DISTRICT FORECAST UP TO 6 P.M. TODAY.— Light variable winds. Weather cloudy early, but fair to fine otherwise. Temperatures moderate; seas, slight to moderate. FURTHER OUTLOOK Settled.
