Wilding Shield Tennis CRICKET, BOWLS, BASEBALL Several important events figure in th. Wellington outdoor programme to be carried out today. Lawn Tennis. The return Wilding Shield tennis match and the return interprovincial women’s match between Canterbury and Wellington, which started yesterday, will be concluded on the Miramar courts. The Hutt Valley Lawn Tennis SubAssoeiatiou will play the following interclub games this afternoon: —Junior final: Waiwetu v. Lower Hutt, St. Augustine's. Third grade: Lower Hutt v. Hutt Bowling, Lower Hutt; Waterloo v. Waiwetu, Waterloo; St. Augustine’s, a bye; Randwick v. Central, Randwick. Fourth grade final: St. Augustine’s v. Knox. Waiwetu. Champion Bowling Fours. The final to decide the champion ot champions bowling fours will be played on the Wellington green between Newtown and Hataitai, play starting at 9 a.m. h Cricket. An interesting item on the cricket programme will be the completion of the match between Auckland and Wellington veterans’ teams. Play will start at 1 p.m. This match is being played on the Basin Reserve, and an additional attraction there today will be the annual match between teams representing the Hutt Valley and Auckland railway workshops.
