GUESTS PROVIDE PROGRAMME AT TOWNSWOMEN'S MEETING

Guests gave an interesting entertainment at the first meeting, for this year of the Karori Townswomen’s Guild (Dominion Federation). A oneact pftiy was performed in costume by Mesdames Sandlant, Isherwood, Alsop and Roil. A play reading, also in costume, was given by Airs. Roil and Airs. F. Young (Lower Hutt). Airs. Islierwood gave several elocutionary items. After afternoon tea Airs. Jorgensen gave a demonstration of designs made from potato cuts, -with a commentary by Aliss Aladdever. The programme was in the hands of Airs. Simpson, convener of the Belmont Drama Circle.
