Talta, at Nai Nat No. 1, Morgan; Odlins v. Oddfellows, at North Park No. 1; Trafalgar Park y. Petone Hibernians, at Petone Recreation. No. 1, Carter and Malin; Gracefleld v. Gear United, at North Park No. 2. C Grade.—Epuni v. Stewart Prams, at Nai Nai No. 2; Eastbourne v. Trafalgar Park, at Trafalgar Park No. 1; Gear United v. Talta, at North Park No. 3. D. Grade.—Trafalgar park v. Metters United, at Trafalgar Park No. 2; Epuni v. Hutt Hibernians, at McEwen Park; Petone Hibernians v. Upper Hutt, at Petone Recreation No. 2.

These being the final fixtures in the championship competition for the A aud B grades, it has been decided by the management committee that an average competition be held for the remainder ot the season. For this competition the two leading B grade teams will be promoted to A grade, and the two bottom A grade teams will be relegated to B grade. Points will be awarded as follows: -Eight points for an outright win. five points for first innings win, three points /for drawn games, which will be added to the average runs scored by the teams. No team’will be allowed to declare under two hours batting time, or bat more than half the available batting time. For this competition for teams playing short, the averages will be worked out on the basis of ten wickets per team. C and D grades will also have games arranged on these lines, when their championship games have been completed, nitn the leading two D grade teams being promoted to C grade, and the two bottom C vrad» teams relegated to D grade.
