Red Warren pumpkins are now at 8/6 a cwt., which is a drop of 2/- since last Monday._ Potatoes remain at 7/- a cwt., cooking onions at 11/-, and pickling onions at 13/-. Cabbage plants are_still at 10/6 a thousand in bundles of 25. Cooking apples are now bringing about 5/0 a case and dessert apples about 8/6. Business in all lines is fairly steady. Ltd., dredged 4 325.000 cubic yards for a recovery of 18.971 ounces of fine gold, and recovered with its hydraulic units 2980 ounces of fine gold, the value of the total production being 768.285 U.S. dollars. Durin"- the same period Asnnzu Gold DredMng. Ltd. handled 204.500 cubic yards, recovering 3335 ounces of fine gold equivalent to 116.72.> L.S. dollars.
