DANCE FOR HARBOUR BOARD PRINCESS

The employees of the Wellington Harbour Board at tended a dance, which was held in the Sports and Pastimes’ Club rooms last week. This gathering marked the opening of the campaign to raise funds for the support of the Harbour Board Princess, Miss Molly McKenzie, and was n great success, the hall being crowded . To the strains of an excellent orchestra, comprising Messrs. A. Clout, piano, H. P.aile. saxophone. B. Hainiesj, saxophone, E. Ormrod. trumpet. and S. Grant, drums, those present thoroughly enjoyed both old time and modem dancing. The secretary of the committee introduced the Princess and she was given a tumultuous welcome with musical honours. The social committee was responsible for the dance.'
