Miss Kendrick, Palmerston North, has taken up duties on the staff of the Bulls District High School. .Mr. and Mrs. E. Beamish and ihe Misses Beamish. Hastings, left Wellington last night for the South Island. Miss Alice Woodhouse, Wellington, is visiting Miss Ogston, Dunedin. Mrs. A. W. Nisbet returned to Wellington yesterday from the South Island. Mrs. Dennis Nathan, Epsom. Auckland, is staying at the Golf Club. Heretaunga. .Mrs. 11. Caselberg. Wellington, is on a visit to her sister, Mrs Norman Speight, Dunedin. Dr. and Mrs. 11. G. Rix. Lower Dutt, are visiting Napier. Mrs. Hardy Moore. Lower Hutt, is staying with her parents in Palmerston North. Mrs. A. Booth. Wairarapa. left Wellington last night for the south. Miss V. Richardson has returned to Wellington from a visit to tlie south. Miss Olive Turton, Wellington, is staying with Mrs. Frank Fitchett, Dunedin. Mrs. J. A. Dempsey and Miss Iris Dempsey, Wanganui, who have been the guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. Walker, Bolton Street, Wellington, have returned home.
Mrs. C. Bennett, Auckland, is visiting Mrs. C. Gordon, Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Preston and family,. Wellington, who have been the guests of Mr. and Mrs. V. E. Donald, Masterton, have returned home.
