The speaker lor the evening at the recent monthly meeting of the St. Andrew Burns Club was Mr. W. B. Mellvene.v. who gave an address on ■■Friendship.’' Artists contributing to the evening's entertainment were: Mrs. L. Haggjlt, "Ye Blinks- and Braes” ami 'Coming Through the Rye"; Mrs. 11. McWhitinie. "O Rowan Tree" and "The Rond to the Isles”; Miss B. Brentnt-r, "Misty Islands of the Highlands" and "Hume o' Mine”: Mr. G. Gunn, violin solos; ami Mr. W. Simpson. "'Hie Days of Lang. Lang Syne.” "The Wee Cooper of Fyfe," ami "The Bonnie Briar Bush."
