Mrs. E. Wilton, Kelburn, Wellington, is visiting Christchurch, where she is the guest of her daughter, Mrs. W. S. Kent.
Mrs. J. H. Luxford, Wadestown, Wellington, is visiting Auckland ami will go on to Hamilton before returning home. Mrs. Lethem, Napier, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. 11. D. Thomson, Wadestown, Wellington. Miss M. Hollings, who has been visiting Mrs. J. .Graham, Tirihape, has returned to 'Wellington.
Mrs. Murray Litchfield, Wellington, arrived at Christchurch yesterday morning on a visit to her daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Blair.
Mrs. Jack Ac-land. Mount Peel, Canterbury, has returned with her childdren from a visit to her mother, Mrs. J. D. Ormond, Wallingford. Hawke’s Bay.
I Miss E. R. Thomas. F.1.1.A., A.C.S. j (N.Z.), will leave Christchurch for Wellington tonight to attend the first _ Dominion conference of the International Institute of Accountants, as the official delegate from the Canterbury and 'Westland branch of the institute.
The wedding will take place on Saturday of .Miss Lois Blank, Christchurch, and Dr. Peter Thodey, Wellington. Miss Margaret Thodey will be a bridesmaid.
Mrs. Eric Rickard, who has been visiting Christchurch, has returned to Napier.
Miss Thelma Jones, air force “princess” in the Victory Queen Carnival returned to Wellington yesterday by plane from Christchurch, where she has been spending a vacation. Mrs. Noel Adams (Clevedon), Dominion president of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union, Mesdames A. B. Smith ('Wellington), Dominion secretary, Black (Gisborne), provincial president, C. K. Wilson (Pio Pio) and C. 0. Jackson (Masterton), members of the advisory board, are
visiting Palmerston North for the i garden party at the 'Women’s Division I rest home.
