Further Consignment Of Parcels QUOTA FOR WELLINGTON A. further consigumeut of parcels is to lie dispatched; shortly to New Zealanders serving in the armed forces overseas and arrangements for this are reported to be well in hand. The Wellington metropolitan area is responsible for the provision of 3500 parcels, hundreds of which are now being received in old 'Central Library Building, where the packing is being done. Mr. Ward, .M.L.C., honorary secretary of the Wellington Metropolitan Patriotic Committee, said yesterday that there hud been an excellent response to the appeal, but more parcels were needed to fill the quota. The parcels should consist of all. or any, of the following items: —Two handkerchiefs, a packet of safety razor blades, tin of milk, or coffee mid milk, or honey, tin of sweets, tin of foot powder or boraeie powder, cake of soap in tin, writing pad and envelopes, cake or small cakes in Un. Goods of a simitar nature will also be appreciated. The depot, is open daily from 9 ir.m. to 4.30 p.m. Money contributions in lieu of parcels will be gladly accepted, but these should be forwarded to lhe city Ireasurei-. Town Hall.
