Outstanding success was achieved itt the blackout trial for householders only which was held throughout the Auckland metropolitan district tonight. While the trial was merely partial, and street lamps, illuminated signs and show windows were as bright as usual, the preliminary reports from wardens indii-nleil that the general public took the lest seriously and co-operated full.'' with the Emergency Precautions Scheme organization.
