Auckland Team To Meet Wellington Following is the Auckland team to meet Wellington in the return representative cricket match to be played at Eden Park, Auckland, starting on Friday:— G. L. Weir, captain (Eden), G. W. Burgess .(Eden), W. M. Wallace (Parnell p. E. Whitelaw (Papakura Camp), O. C. Cleat (Papakura Camp), V. J. Scott (Y.M.C.A.), 11. T. Pearson (Middlemore), D. C. Cleverley (Middleniore), F. M. Andrews (Middleniore), C. Burke (Grafton), C. K. Jackman (University). Twelfth man: 11. Sutcliffe (Parnell). The umpires will be Messrs. O. R. Montgomery and R. W. Mitebell. The only changes from the side that previously beat Wellington are the inclusion of Jackman and Wallace in place of J. Blandford and H. Harrison. Blandford is now in camp at Trentham, and is playing for University in the Wellington senior competition. J. Cowie and H. G. Vivian were not available. WELLINGTON’S TWELFTH MAN M. Church, of the Kilbirnie Club, has been selected as twelfth man for the Wellington cricket eleven., which will leave by the Daylight Express today to play the return match with Auckland on Friday, .Saturday and Monday next.
