DOMINION CHIEF SCOUT
New Governor-General Appointed
The new Governor-General, Sir Cyril Newall, has been appointed Dominion Chief Scout and patron of the Scout Movement in New Zealand. Advice to this effect has been received by the Dominion Headquarters of the movement, Wellington, from Imperial Headquarters, London. When he accepted the position, Sir Cyril said he was most grateful for the invitation. He promised to do everything in his power to assist the movement in the Dominion. The offices of Dominion Chief Scout, and patron, were formerly held by Lord Galway.
