OBITUARY

Mrs. W. J. Harland Mrs. W. J. Harland, widow of Mr. W. J. Harland, Wellington, died recently in New Plymouth, aged 73. Mrs. Harland was the youngest daughter of Mr. James Baillie, a resident for many years of Greytown and subsequently of Wellington. Mrs. Harland took an active interest .for many years in church and Sunday school, work, but of late years through failing health had to relinquish all activities. Many friends gathered at the Taranaki Street Methodist Church, and at the graveside at Karori. Messrs. J. F. Baillie, Eketahuna, D. H. Baillie, South Featherston, and I’. Baillie, Tangarakau, are brothers of Mrs. Harland.
