The bombardment at dawn tiiis morning by light and heavy units of the British Navy of Genoa, in northern Italy, provides the most striking evidence of perhaps the whole war of the complete control the British Navy has of the Mediterranean. The action was announced in the following Admiralty communique: A very - heavy bombardment of Genoa was carried out this morning at dawn by our naval forces.
