Welton-Hogg has returned to Wellington after a visit to tlie South Island. Mr. C. A. Worthington, who has been tutor to drama groups in Otago ami Canterbury for the last six years, has no wreceived a permanent appointment in that capacity from the University of Otago and Canterbury University College. Captain D. I‘. Lindsay, of the Ist Hawke’s Bay Regiment, who has been on duty at Trcnlhaiit Military Camp, lias been appointed to Army Headquarters at Christchurch. In 1938 he wont abroad to carry out research work in child art in tlie United States. Canada and Great Britain. He gained bis degree of bachelor of education at Edinburgh University in 1939. and returned to Dunedin at the beginning of last year. Mr. Edgar will succeed Mr. Gordon Tovey, who has been appointed lecturer in art at the Dunedin Training College.
