PAHIATUA, February 5. The Associated Auctioneers report about 3CNX) sheep, mostly lambs, were offered lo a fair attendance of buyeis at the weekly Pahiatua stock sale. Prices for top lambs were a little easier, but few top sheep were yarded. Small lamb s sold exceptionally well, and a total clearance under the hammer was made as folGood shorn wether lambs, 17/to 15/6; good medium, 14/- to 12/9; good ■woolly wether lambs 15/6 to 14/19, good medium 13/6 to 13/-, medium 12/6 to H/h; small wether lambs 10/6 to 9/-. euils </■ to 5/-- medium b.f. lambs 14/6 to 13/-. small 12/- to 10/6; good two-tooth wethers 21/- to 20/6, average 20/- to 111/-; fat lambs 20/- to 19/-; medium ewe lambs 17/- to 16/-, Ismail 14/- to 12/6. Cattle: Yearling dairy heifers £4/i/b to Pigs: Good weaners 20/- to 13/6. medium 12/(1 10 10/-, small 8/- to i/6; maiden sows £3/5/-.
