MINOR ACCIDENTS IN HASTINGS

Dominion Special Service. HASTINGS, January 2. Numerous minor accidents occurred in the Hastings district during the holiday period. Merle Neale, 18-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Neale, Hastings, received facial injuries when she was thrown against the dashboard of her father’s car. After receiving medical attention she was taken to her home. Five patients were treated af Hastings Memorial Hospital for minor injuries and were subsequently discharged. Mr. M. Martin, Clive, received a lacerated lip aud Mr. T. Tiheami a lacerated left hand. A Lower Hutt visitor to Hastings. Miss N. Carroll, met with a mishap in a swimming bath and was treated for a fractured forearm, A lacerated hand was received by Mr. G. Douglas. Hastings, and Mr. G. Morley, Mangateretere, had a lacerated arm dressed.
