'Together for the sixth time, Jeanette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy are Ihe principals of “New Moon.” presented this week at the Majestic Theatre. Set against the colourful background of 1780 New Orleans, “New .Moon” records the story of a woman of noble French birth and a man who, masquerading as a bondsman, manages to elude the guillotine by dropping his title of Due de Villiers. The varied musical score by Sigmund Romberg is one of the lines) with which the MacDonald-Eddy combination has been connected.
