Future Vehicles For Charles Boyer
pH ARLES Boyer will be starred in two- pictures on R.K.O. Radio’s 1940-41 programme. The first picture bringing Boyer is tentatively titled, “Ariane Pretends.” and will be directed by Anatole Litvak. It is based on the popular novel by the noted French author, Claude Anet. The second Boyer starring vehicle will be “The Pirate/’ a romantic storj- of an outlaw iu love, to be adapted to the
screen from Marcel Achard’s Parisian stage play, “Le Corsaire,” which enjoyed a two-year run in Paris. Now established in a brilliant career, and an outstanding favourite on motion picture screens throughout the world, Boyer recently completed “All This and Heaven, Too.” His many boxoffice triumphs include “Love Affair,” in which he co-starred with Irene Dunne, "Algiers,” and “When Tomorrow Comes.”

Now it has been brought to the screen by Warner Bros, in a feature which stars Bette Davis as A. ademoiselle Henriette Deluzy-Des-portes, Charles Boyer as Theobold, Due de Praslin, protagonists in a sensational murder trial.
