Germans in Holland ItSve imprisoned at least 600 Dutchmen, stating that they were reluctantly forced to take this step as a reprisal “for the inhuman treatment of Germans interned in the Dutch East Indies.” This was announced by official Dutch circles in London, who stated that the prisoners include 7 generals. 10 professors, 73 teachers, 10 Parliamentarians,- 7 journalists and 6 police commissioners.
