Davis, M.L.0., arrived at Wellington from Auckland yesterday and left later for the South Island. Mr. S. G. Holland, M.P., arrived at Wellington from the south yesterday. Mr. Hubert Nathan was a passenger from Wellington by the steamer express last night. Dr. T. R. Ritchie, Director of Public Hygiene, will return from Auckland today. Dr. M. G. Pc-zaro, Auckland, travelled from Wellintgon to Christchurch yesterday by air. Mr. C. E. Robertson, stud stock manager of Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., was a passenger for the south by last night’s steamer express. Mr. C. M. Turrell, general manager of the New Zealand Shipping Company, Ltd., left: Wellington for the south last night, by the steamer express. Mr. ErreJd G. Martin, Wellington, managing director in New Zealand for the Atlantic Union Oil Company, left Wellington last, night for the south. Mr. C. Meachen, accompanied by .Mrs. Meachen, has left on a visit to Australia and will inquire into the activities of the Crippled Children Society, St. John Ambulance and Blood Transfusion Service in Australia. Sergeant D. I. Gate, president of the Waikato Returned Soldiers’ Association, and a member of the Army instructional staff, lias been appointed a member of the Hamilton Borough Council. Major 11.
