Hurley, Sydney, seeretarv of the Australian section vf Hie British-American Co-operation M ovement who arrived by the flying-bo.it Aotearoa to join the American Clipper for Los Angeles. By those who had started the movement in Sydney over throe yeais ago it was felt that close understanding and co-operation between the peoples of the two groat democracies would have such an Influence on the rest of the world that peace would be practically guaranteed, he said.. As a beginning this idea had been fostered in Australia and there were now branches in several State capitals. About two months ago a New Zealand section bad been successfully inaugurated at Wellington, and it was hoped to extend the movement to other centres.
