Cold ■weather, the result of further falls of snow on the mountains, have been prevailing in Hawke's Bay, accompanied by heavy winds. Throughout the week conditions have been unsettled, with several heavy showers of rain, and with mid summer only about a month away the weather is most unseasonable.
