LOCAL BODY ELECTIONS

The executive of the Wellingfon Ratepayers’ Association took the first steps toward I lie local body elections campaign at its meriting on Thursday night. It was decided to form a Greater Wellington Ratepayers ami Citizens’ Election Committee, and a subcommittee was appointed to receive names of possible candidates for the mayoralty, city council, hospital board and harbour - board, and to draw up points of policy.
