Drop In Mediterranean Rates LONDON, August 23. The substantial reductions being made in the rates quoted by the War Risks Insurance Ollice for tiie Mediterranean trades reflect more favourable experience than was provided for in previous quotations. Where, till recently, voyages to tiie Eastern Mediterranean were being quoted at £l5 per cent., the rale is now quoted at £lO per cent., and for voyages to and from Suez, Port Said and Alexandria the rale is now £7/10/ per cent., via die Cape or the Mediterranean. Formerly the rate was £l2 10/- pcr cent, via tiie Mediterranean and £7/10/- per cent, via Hie Cape.
