FARM SCHEME
British Children For Australia NOW IN AUCKLAND (By Telegraph—-Press Association.) AUCKLAND, August 25. A party of 28 British children is at present in Auckland on its way to Australia under the Fairbridge Farm Schools' Scheme. All , the children were selected before Ihe war star ted, and have not been evacuated from England because of it. The conductor of the party, Mr. L. 11. Mclntyre, explained that 19 boys would lie trained under the normal Fairbridge system for farm work, and nine girls would be prepared for domestic service. They range in age from six to 13 years.
