Forecast —Winds: Moderate to strong southerly to westerly, gradually decreasing, sieeiallv in the South Island. Seas (New Zealand waters : Rather lough ’ to roll'd) north of Farewell Snit and between East Cape and Dunedin, sli„h 1° r ‘re Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate to strong southwesterlv winds and rough seas in the northern portion and light to moderate and rather variable winds in the southern portion. Weather—Rather unsettled generally at first with rain extending northward over the North Island, but conditions gradually improving again from th eolith Temperatures cold with some snow on the ranges.
