The Presbyterian Bible Glass Movement had held its indoor games competition in the gymnasium during the past mouth and the Wellington and New Zealand centennial table tennis championships were to be held in the institute gymnasium. -Tim Institute; Silver Baud has been engaged during the month m practising for the annual solo contest to be heat in September. The director reported that the boarding establishment hud been lull throughout Ihe month and with the exception ol the prevalent colds Ihe boys had been in excellent health. The resignation of Mrs. L. T. Malkins because of ill-health was received with regret hv the management committee. Mrs. Watkins’s interest in the boarding establishment dates from the beginning of this department, nearly 25 years ago. The women's auxiliary, which makes itself responsible for the household arrangements for I lie home, elected Mrs. Watkins honorary president in 1924, am! on the retirement of .Mrs. .1. Hislop four years ago she became president.
