A MESSAGE TO FARMERS

Farmers 1 There is little need to tell you what a valuable asset a quantity Of good building timber is on the farm. There is always some job to do or some repair work needed that requires some kind of timber. So much is this in evidence that many farmers—rather than be “run out” just when it is needed— keep a timber supply under cover ready for instant use. This saves time anil assists production. Thefurther away your farm is from a timber yard the more this fact is made clear. Now, no matter what your requirements may be, we have large stocks of heart’timbers suitable for farmers, at our Main Trunk Mills. By having a supply .of suitable timber on hand it is convenient to make those small repairs and adjustments which, if left, would be beyond repairing. Consequently complete replacement involving valuable time as well as money would be necessary. A visit "to our commodious yards in Rangitikei Street, Palmerston North, will demonstrate many lines of timber that will be exceedingly useful to farmers. The Odlin Timber and Hardware Co. (Mana'watu) Ltd., incorporating the Tiratu Sawmilling Co., 192 Rangitikei Street, Palmerston North, lias a name among the farming community for value and service. As an aid to production farmers’ prices are kept at the lowest level, commensurate with quality. Phones 713-1 and 6321.
