MORE WATER—GREATER PRODUCTION

Milk is ST per cent, water, therefore to produce large quantities of milk a cow needs large quantities of water. On many farms is it not uncommon in summer to see cows hanging round a muddy water hole, or waiting for a leaky wooden trough to fill. Often cows have to walk long distances to water or scramble up and down steep gullies. Now, while a cow will not, of course, go thirsty if there is water about, she will often not drink as much as she should or could drink if she has to go to too much trouble to get it. A cow produces best when she feeds well with a minimum of effort. And unless your cows have plenty of water and have it handy, they are not producing as they should- be.

Own a Mac Ewan Pressure Pumping Plant and all chances of a water shortage are for ever ended. Oceans of water are available for every purpose —in your home, sheds, garden and paddocks. Moreover, this- water is supplied under pressure exactly as in a city household, enabling you to use a hose for cleaning the milking shed, and for washing the car, and sprinklers for your lawn and gardens.
