Dividend Kate Unchanged The Milburn Lime mid Cement Cu., Ltd., yesterday advised the Stock Exchange Association that the directors have decided that at the annual meeting ou September 17 they will recommend a final dividend of 5 per cent., making a total of <Sj per cent, for the year. Transfer books will be closed from September 6 to 17, both dales inclusive. The dividend is at an unchanged rate. Gold Mining Returns Kimu Flat dredge return this week was 1720 z. 2dwt. secured in 128 hours from 38,744 yards’. Maori Gold dredging was discontinued at midnight, on Wednesday last week, pending the directors’ decision about the use of the manganese steel close-connected buckets from the old dredge at Afaori Gully. A wash-up on the Thursday returned 320 z. 3dwt. of retorted gold for 87 hours’ dredging of 7920 yards, equal to about Bd. a yard at the present price of gold. The dredge is now working in rich lead.
