WANGANUI, August 22.

Mr. and Mrs. A. I). Brodie, Wanganui, have received advice that their son, Pilot Oflicer Peter Brodie, is missing in air operations. Pilot Officer Brodie is an old boy of Wanganui Collegiate School. While there he won his colours for rowing, and on leaving school he joined the Wangantii Rowing Club, where he soon made his mark as an oarshian. He represented the club at many regattas ami is a former captain of the club. . Tie left New Zealand with a draft for the Royal Air Force in 1938. In April of this year he married Miss Pamela Harnett, daughter of Mrs. I’. Harnett, C r ieklewood, London.
