Coming Productions By Thespians
r PriE Thespians have chosen their final production for this year, After “Caprice” they will present the “thriller” “They Walk Alone,” by Max Catto, which recently had' an extended inn on the English stage. This will 'be presented early in October. “Caprice,” by the Continental dramatist, Sil-Vara, will he presented in the Concert Chamber early next month. It Is being produced Mr. K. Fowles, who will be remembered for his performances in two Thespian shows, “Private Lives” and "Macbeth.” He will appear also in the leading role. In the female lead is Lynda Hastings, who will be well remembered by theatregoers. Others) in the cast are May Lochore, Margaret Freeman, Moira McClure, Laurence Constable and Jim Vaughan,
HPHERE is a story behind the signing of Francisca Gaal by Joe Pasternak for a supporting role in “Spring Parade,” in which Deanna Durbin is starred. Pasternak made the movie in Europe 12 years ago, and on that occasion Miss Gaal was starred. Under Pasternak’s guidance Francisca may become as successful an actress in Hollywood as she was abroad.
