PROPOSED WAIROA AERODROME
Cultivation Suggested
Dominion Special Service.
“WAIROA, August 22.
That the area on which it. is proposed to establish an aerodrome should be cultivated and cropped was a suggestion made to the Wairoa Harbour Board by a deputation from the Wairoa I’rimary Production Council. It was pointed out by the hoard that the area was not yet in its possession, and when it. was it had to be held for the Public Works Department to begin work on it when it was in a position to do so. It was decided to wait on the Minister of Public Works. Mr. Semple, on his forthcoming visit, to Wairoa. to place the position before him.
