The final round of the secondary schools hockey tourney resulted as follows: —Section A: Auckland Grammar A 7, Wellington Technical 1; .Palmerston North 4, Gisborne 1; Hamilton 7, Auckland Technical 0. Section B: Etowick 1, drew with Stratford (1939 winners) 1; Wellington College 7, Auckland Grammar B 0; Mount Albert Grammar 4, Wairarapa 3. Two teams in each section tied, Auckland Grammar and Palmerston North, with nine "points, and Mount Albert and Stratford, with eight points. They will meet in that order this afternoon to decide who will contest the final tomorrow morning.
