MONEY FOR SPITFIRE

Empire Dairies have presented Lord Beaverbrook with a cheque for £5OOO to buy a Spitfire, "in appreciation of the glorious action of the R.A.F.” Lord Beaverbrook lias acknowledged the gift; with the deeiwst gratitude, and said he would endeavour to have the machine allotted to an Australian or New Zealand squadron.
