Knocked Down By Car In City

The death occurred at; 7 a.in. on Saturday of Robert Arthur McKenzie Meharry, aged 47, cook at the Mt. Cook Police Staitioiii, who was taken to hospital 6} hours earlier .for the treatment of injuries he received when he was knocked down by a motor-car at the corner o f Cam b ridge Terrace and Buckle Street.

It is understood the police have traced rhe driver of the car which is believed to have struck Mr. Meharry.
